Jack Chalden has joined the Dub team. Jack has over 40 years experience in the events/trade show industry and is considered one of its most innovated and trusted leaders.  He recently served on the board of IAEE (International Assoc of Exhibitions & Events) , as chairman of MATSO (Major American Trade Show Organizers) and was recently VP of Industry Relations for BD Metrics.

We’re mobilizing associations! We’re excited to be partnering with Higher Logic, a hosted social networking platform, to give association members the ability to connect with other members, get association news, events & more from their phones.  Check out the DUB News page to learn more.

A new mobile app for students to do just about everything from their phones just launched and it’s Powered by DUB! Datatel, a provider of tech products to over 700 higher ed institutions, just announced the Datatel Mobile App at the EDUCAUSE Conference.

The app gives students access to their personal class schedules; including assignments,  class roster, announcements, test dates, messages from the professor and docs. Plus campus News, Events, a GPS enabled Map, Alerts and a new Friends address book that lets them exchange contact info; including photo, social networks, IM and more all from their phone.

How does 100K new downloads in one day sound?! DUB is now a featured app in BlackBerry’s App World and we’re fully expecting to cross that record. It’s going to be a busy week regardless between RIM, our Datatel Mobile launch at EDUCAUSE & another major partner announcement. Stay tuned!!
