You never know when you might get run over by the leader of the free world! Pres. Obama blocked some serious traffic the other day while I was walking down I Street (not far from the White House). I caught a quick photo then Dubbed him before getting the evil eye from Secret Service.

This past Tuesday, I was in Burlingame on an beautiful night in SV for Technologizer’s Tweetup. No, a tweetup is not a collection of birds or nerds. well, actually now that I think about it… No, it was pretty interesting, and I got some free wine courtesy of Nectar, the wine bar hosting this shindig.
I knew the event would be well attended, but it was real treat getting to meet John Pallatto and Steven Levy. I’ve got confirmation that John is now a DUB user and I’m still working on Steven. He’ll come around!

Last Friday, I attended the LiveUmbrella (@LiveUmbrella) entrepreneur networking event in Palo Alto. As before, my goal at this event was to continue to build awareness at the grassroots level, and get more early adopters using DUB. I think the feedback speaks for itself…

Are you ‘dubbing’ people yet? If you’re not, you should be…

One of the cool things you can do with DUB is create a Group Exchange. The photo above is from the BootstrapMD Conference (@BootstrapMD). Group Exchange allows you to create a group and wirelessly exchange contact info with everyone in the group. Everyone at BootstrapMD was able to get everyone elses contact info in a simple and efficient way. No matter how great a networker (or schmoozer) you are, it’s impossible to meet everyone at a conference or trade show. But with Group Exchange, there’s now a way to at least get people’s contact information. You can use DUB to create a group and rapidly exchange contact info with everyone in it. This is great for conference calls, meetings and all sorts of impromptu gatherings.
